Congratulations 10 U Desert Dynasty, Tournament Winners!

Congratulations to Desert Dynasty they are the 2008 10 U Girls Champions. Over the last week LQSYA held the end of the season tournament for the 10 u girls. If you did not get a chance to see this up and coming division you missed out on some great softball. Over the course of the week there we some exciting moments. American Hitters played aganist The Crush and the winner was determined over an international tie breaker. Last night in the game against the Blaze and Desert Outlaws there was a grand slam for the Blaze as well as Kacey Sugimoto taking a shot off the shoulder and amazing enough she was still able to continue the game! In the Championship game one of the Blaze players was so determined to catch a fly ball in the out field that she accidently hit the pole, but she told her coaches that she was able to play and carried on. This whole entire division played outstanding ball, amazing catches, plays, slides, hits and most all the pitching for the Blaze and Dynasty was outstanding. Meagan and Mirah both received game balls for their outstanding pitching from the umpires. Thank you coaches for all of you hard work in volunteering your time to make these girls better players and enjoy the game of softball.
